It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Rahotu Primary School.

I am the proud principal of this wonderful school located in beautiful Coastal Taranaki.

At Rahotu Primary, we pride ourselves on our strong academic achievement, our participation in a variety of sports and outdoor education opportunities, our celebration and commitment to our Māori culture and our close connections to Parihaka. 

Our community acknowledge the importance and real desire for students to take part in purposeful topics with a strong link to the community. So, alongside our robust reading, writing and maths programmes we provide authentic learning experiences that link to our local environment, people and places. 

We encourage students to exhibit our FLAME values in a variety of different contexts and locations as they strive to 'ignite their passion for learning'.
